When the show was A Reasonable Day, Kevin and Alyssa are joined by filmmaker and "wife of podcaster," Wendy Placko, to discuss The Shining. This film, created by controversial filmmaker Stanley Kubrick and based on the novel by Stephen King, wasn't necessarily a hit with its release in 1980, but has worked its way into our collective consciousness. Together, they discuss the alleged lore surrounding the film, potential symbolism, and all that makes it such a memorable piece of work.
